Submit your site to Google webmaster central by new verification method
In my recent post, I have explained about how to submit your site to yahoo site explorer and Bing webmaster. It’s time for you to submit your site to Google webmaster central. Submitting your site to Google webmaster tools is very crucial for your site because Google search engine can give you almost 85% traffic from internet. Recently, Google webmaster blog http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/ also was released new official post about new change in site verification method in webmaster tools. Let’s see this new verification method.What’re benefits after submitting your site to Google Webmaster?
You will have completed Google webmaster tools after verified, such as sitemaps, crawler access, site links, change address, setting, top search queries, link to your site, keywords, internal links, subscriber’s stats, crawl error, crawl stats, and HTML suggestion.
How are the steps to submit your site to Google webmaster?
a. Open http://www.google.com/webmasters/ at your browser.
b. Login to Google webmaster by your Gmail email.
c. Click add site and fill form with your site URL.
d. You will 2 options to choose: verification by Meta tag or by uploading html file.
e. If you choose verification with Meta tag, simple copy paste Meta tag between <head> and </head> in you HTML.
f. If you choose verification with uploading file, simple upload file HTML verification file to your root folder.
g. Choose only one.
I. After you follow this step, simple click "verify".
j. Done, if your verification succeeds, your site verification will be displaying word “verified”.
