Widget top commenter & popular post
Most commented widget has been made by many blogger long time ago. However, I often receive several problems when using the widget, such as disappearing from blog and unstable. I have found another widget that can be made by yahoo pipes. Yahoo pipes is a yahoo tool that can make RSS feed such as google feedburner. The unique from yahoo pipes is more complex and more difficult. I think most commented post widget is unstable because many people redirect to one person. If we can make one yahoo pipes per blog, I think this widget will be more stable.How to make most commented widget directly from yahoo pipes?
a. Open yahoo pipes at http://pipes.yahoo.com then login with your yahoo user id.
b. You can see my published yahoo pipes here my yahoo pipes.
c. You will see several published yahoo pipes, click at one yahoo pipes like the figures above.
d. Then click at “clone” button, you can copy one of my yahoo pipes to your account. Make sure that you have logged to your yahoo pipes account, so my yahoo pipes can be copied.
e. Then open your yahoo pipes profile. You will see one yahoo pipes has been cloned.
f. Edit blog URL & name, fill number post to consider, and then click at run pipe. You also can edit yahoo pipes flowchart through “view source” button.
g. To publish it, just copy URL “get RSS”.
h. Open your blogger account, and publish it as RSS feed.
The widget here is an alternative widget from yahoo pipes, although there is a default "widget top commenter & popular post" from blogger. Maybe it can be an alternative for top commenter & popular post widget.
